Initiate a scan on your computer to search for the deleted download. Wait for the scan process to complete. Search for the file by typing in the name if you know it. This is super helpful if you have a lot of files on your hard drive and will make the process much quicker. Step 6. Choose a path for Disk Drill to restore the deleted download to.
